The Farandole — named for the French Provencal chain dance — is among Hermès's most enduring silver-jewellery designs. The 120cm length allows for double-wrap or triple-wrap looping around the neck, transforming the piece across silhouettes from elongated single-chain to multi-tiered choker construction. The chain links are themselves a study in saddlery-meets-jewellery: an anchor-chain motif that recalls the maison's iconic Chaîne d'Ancre family but rendered in a finer, more wearable proportion.
