The Chypre — named for the eastern Mediterranean island — is the maison's mule-style flat sandal: a slim closed-toe slipper with the iconic Hermès H-band detail across the foot, designed for slip-on summer wear. It has become one of the most allocated pieces in the maison's footwear catalogue, with editorial features regularly highlighting its quietly confident proportions. In the Naturel and Denim execution, the sandal pairs natural untreated calfskin with washed denim canvas — a deliberately textural dialogue between two materials, the natural leather reading as quietly luxurious against the casual register of the denim.
