The Hermès Carré 70 silk scarf with studs in Blue Jean, Blanc and Noir is a contemporary reinterpretation of the maison's iconic 90cm silk Carré, in a more wearable 70cm proportion. Hand-rolled hem, applied stud detailing. The Carré — the maison's iconic square silk scarf — has been at the heart of Hermès's identity since the first piece was produced in 1937. The 70cm Carré is the more recent compact proportion, designed for more contemporary styling possibilities: knotted at the neck, tied as a top, fashioned into a headwrap, or tied to the handle of a Birkin or Kelly. The stud-detailed edition adds a graphic punctuation along the edges — metallic studs hand-applied around the silk border, transforming the soft hand of the silk into something more architectural. In Blue Jean, Blanc and Noir, the colourway reads as both timeless and graphic, suiting both casual and elevated styling contexts. Hermès silk is sourced and woven in Lyon — the historic capital of French silk weaving — with each piece hand-rolled at the edges by maison artisans.
